Now Available: 1941 Trotti!
Exciting news.. a brand new beautifully designed home is now available in the heart of Kirkwood! 1941 Trotti, the newest craftsman style home by POP. Custom Homes, gracefully balances modern amenities and historical details!
The leaded glass windows, exposed rustic shelving, shiplap backsplash and beautiful built-ins make this kitchen and living space beautifully unique.
The master suite has it all – marble tile, elegant claw foot tub, and walk in closet.
Not to mention, this home is positioned right in the middle of Kirkwood, making it easy to walk downtown for a cup of Taproom coffee in the morning or maybe some neighborhood Mexican food at El Myriachi for dinner. Or hey, maybe both….Brilliant!

Marta Expansion
There are talks of a new bill to expand Marta, giving commuters an alternative to driving to work. Other cities that rival Atlanta in size have other modes of transportation for commuters in the city. The argument is that with the Marta expansion and road improvements, it will be easier to get to the city center (where the majority of jobs are!). Current Marta Route:
This expansion would reach outside the perimeter up 400, east toward I-20, and another rail more southeast of the city. These road improvements and rail expansion would cost about $8 billion dollars (wow!) split between these two projects. This bill still has yet to be passed through legislation, but it is exciting to know that Atlanta could be moving in this direction. Can you imagine how much easier it would be for people to commute to work?
The future is bright and exciting for the City of Atlanta!
234 Winter Before & After
We had the amazing opportunity to connect Jesse with POP Custom Homes who purchased the home for a price slightly above market value.
About a year ago we met Jesse. Jesse was helping his mother who was ill sell her home in Oakhurst so she could move to a new home and pay for the necessary care she needed. We had the amazing opportunity to connect Jesse with POP Custom Homes who purchased the home for a price slightly above market value. We eliminated any closing costs or commissions Jesse’s mom might have had to pay otherwise,& we all began work on the new historically inspired masterpiece at 234 Winter Ave in Oakhurst! The Original home was a single story 3 bed/1 bath bungalow with a front porch & granite columns. The new home took that inspiration of the granite columns & rocking chair front porch and accelerated it into an incredibly refined historically inspired new home. Some of the matchless historical details in this beautiful home now include solid core 5 panel stained interior doors w/ glass doorknobs, leaded antique glass windows, a custom stained glass address transom built in Baltimore, asymmetrical built-ins in the living room, & antique pocket barn doors in the master.
See some of the before & after pictures below and let us know if you want to view this beautiful new home…BRILLIANT!
